Meet Dr. Kocher

A proud resident of Delaware, Dr. Steven Kocher grew up in Bucyrus, Ohio. He earned both his bachelor's degree and his Doctor of Optometry at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!).

He started his career in his hometown working at a private practice, where he gained extensive experience in all types of eye care, including emergency eye services, surgical post-operative care, comprehensive eye exams and specialty contact lens fittings. Steven then returned to the Columbus area and fell in love with Delaware, where he opened Delaware Family Eyecare in 2015.  

In his free time, Dr. Kocher has volunteered as a trustee of the Central Ohio Optometric Association and is a member of the Consulting Board of the Delaware Community Center YMCA. He enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, and golfing.
